TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 4, 2025 - PARIS

Agefi invites you to the 16th edition of AM TECH DAY on Tuesday, November 4, at the Palais Brongniart in Paris.
This event brought together more than 1,000 finance and tech professionals (asset managers, insurers, private bankers, fintechs, and solution providers) to listen to the hundreds of experts speaking in roundtable discussions and workshops, as well as interviews on the TV set.

AI in 2025: How to chart the path to scale?
In 2025, artificial intelligence (AI) continues to transform asset management firms. After experimentation, it's now time for action. The benefits and costs associated with adopting AI are numerous, with significant impacts on the efficiency of internal processes and risk management. One of the main transformations concerns the massive creation of AI agents and, consequently, the transformation of processes in various support functions. Multiple strategies are emerging with the same objective: greater operational efficiency.

AI also offers opportunities in fund distribution, potentially allowing asset management companies to pool their costs and optimize proximity to end clients. By improving understanding of investor needs, it could also play a key role in the evolution of financial advisors.
However, the growing use of AI raises cybersecurity challenges. The question is whether AI can reduce attacks and, at the same time, create new forms of fraud, and what internal policies should be established to regulate its use, particularly through tools like ChatGPT.

Another major challenge is the sovereignty of data and AI-based tools. It is imperative to put in place strong governance mechanisms to ensure the ethical and secure use of AI.
When it comes to active fund management, a fundamental question arises: can AI generate alpha and outperform human asset managers in certain contexts? This remains to be proven, but AI could play a key role in active management if used under the right conditions.
Finally, the HR challenges associated with the deployment of AI in asset management companies are numerous. Training teams on new tools and acquiring specialized talent are essential to successfully achieving this technological transition.

Here are some of the topics that will be on the agenda at AM Tech Day 2025.
