A leading figure in sustainable and impact finance, Léa Dunand-Chatellet has served as Chief Executive Officer of Mirova since July 2026, an affiliate of Natixis Investment Managers and a global leader in sustainable and impact investing with more than €36 billion in assets under management, some 265 employees across four continents, and strategies spanning seven asset classes.
With more than 20 years of experience in sustainable finance, impact investing and asset management, she built her expertise across some of the industry’s most influential platforms. She began her career as an SRI analyst on the sell side at Oddo BHF, before joining Sycomore AM as a Partner and Portfolio Manager, where she launched and developed the firm’s ESG research capability and its SRI fund range. In 2015 she joined Mirova as Executive Director and Equity CIO, sitting on the Executive Committee and overseeing €3.5 billion in assets across multi-thematic and thematic equity strategies. She subsequently led the creation and growth of the Responsible Investment expertise and brand at DNCA Finance as Partner and Director of Responsible Investment, building a comprehensive impact investment franchise — proprietary ESG methodologies, SFDR Article 9 strategies, SRI labels and regulatory frameworks — that grew to more than €1.2 billion in assets under management across four impact strategies. During this period, she also sat on the CSR Committee of Bureau Veritas from 2018 to 2024.
Beyond her executive responsibilities, she plays an active role in shaping the sustainable finance ecosystem and its regulatory framework. Since 2024, she has chaired the Sustainable Finance Committee of the French Asset Management Association (AFG), and she sits on the AMF’s Climate and Sustainable Finance Committee and the French SRI Label Committee. She also serves on the Renault Stakeholder Committee and the MAIF-Vie Mission Committee.
Her contribution to the field has been widely recognized, including being named ESG Personality of the Year at the Grand Prix de la Finance every year from 2020 to 2026.
A graduate of the École Normale Supérieure (ENS) and holder of the French agrégation in Economics and Management, Léa Dunand-Chatellet has taught annually at leading business schools — including École Polytechnique, HEC and EDHEC — since 2008, and co-authored SRI and Responsible Investment with École Polytechnique (Ellipses, 2014 and 2022).
